قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجThe Category Lead is responsible for supporting the Trading Manager in driving sales, margin, conversion, and customer experience across assigned online categories. The role focuses on digital trading, assortment optimisation, inventory availability, promotions, product performance, and marketplace execution across owned e-commerce websites and third-party marketplaces.The successful candidate will combine commercial acumen, analytical skills, and operational excellence to ensure the right products are available, visible, and competitively positioned to achieve category growth targets.Duties and Responsibilities:Digital Trading & Commercial PerformanceMonitor daily sales performance against targets and identify opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability.Review key e-commerce KPIs including Revenue, Conversion rate, Traffic, Average Order Value (AOV), Units per Transaction (UPT), Gross Margin, Sell-throughSupport the execution of weekly and monthly trading plans.Prepare performance reports and category insights for review with the Trading Manager.Online Assortment & MerchandisingEnsure products are correctly categorized, searchable, and merchandised across websites and marketplaces.Maintain product listings, attributes, imagery, descriptions, and pricing.Support collection launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional events.Identify assortment gaps and recommend opportunities to improve category performance.Inventory & Availability ManagementMonitor stock availability and identify risks relating to stock-outs or excess inventory.Work closely with Planning, Buying, and Operations teams to improve product availability.Support allocation and replenishment decisions based on sales trends and demand forecasts.Drive actions to improve sell-through of slow-moving inventory.Promotions & Campaign ExecutionCoordinate promotional setup across websites and marketplaces.Validate pricing and discount accuracy.Support campaign execution for key events.Analyze campaign performance and recommend optimization opportunities.Marketplace ManagementSupport trading activities across platforms such as Namshi, Amazon, Centrepoint, Styli and other strategic partners.Ensure product content and pricing are consistent across all channels.Monitor marketplace sales, inventory, availability and compliance requirements.Coordinate launch and promotional activity with marketplace account managers.Analytics & Customer InsightAnalyze product, brand and customer performance data.Identify trends, opportunities and risks affecting category growth.Monitor customer search behaviour, product engagement and conversion data.Recommend actions to improve online customer experience and category performance.Cross Functional CollaborationWork closely with Brand Teams, Digital Marketing, Buying & Planning, Marketplace Partners, and Customer Experience Teams.Support delivery of category objectives across all digital touchpoints.Experience & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Commerce or related field.2-4 years experience in E-commerce, Online Merchandising, Digital Trading, Retail Planning or Marketplace Management.Strong Excel and Power BI skills.Experience with Shopify, marketplaces, PIM or ERP systems preferred.Strong analytical and commercial mindset.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
