Moller Maersk Group. The annual spend under the scope is approximately USD 300 Min.As a Category Manager you will get exposed to a variety of classical category management tasks:Defining the category strategy for your portfolio, in line with global and the regional category strategy with the objective of creating value for our customer by partnering with the right suppliers. The strategy needs to support the Must Win Battles for Procurement around Environment & Sustainability, Resilience, DigitalizationMapping and analyzing data on current spend patterns and identifying cost drivers and opportunities in complex marketplacesDeveloping new models to analyze supplier offers and quantify total costs and total values of ownershipLead negotiations with the suppliers by preparing a comprehensive negotiation strategyEnsure contract compliance by updating the relevant information in the contract management toolsSimplify and effectively communicate complex messages to the leadershipFinally, you will have significant responsibility from the start and be expected to execute and deliver on time and in line with our purposeful targets.Who we are looking for:Our employees represent a wide range of educational backgrounds, work experience and nationalities - most important to us is your personal skills.
