Each and every day our team strives to play our part, providing Austin with handcrafted, locally roasted coffee, a creative scratch-made food and drink menu, a charitable commitment to man's best friend, and classic southern hospitality.The primary role of the Catering & Logistics Coordinator is to ensure smooth daily operations to our catering customers and deliveries to our off-site stores/cafes from our commissary bakery. This is an in-the-weeds with the team role.Responsibilities:Facilitates and participates in the day-to-day duties of sourcing, packing and ensuring deliveries leave with the drivers on-time for catering ordersAssists with the opening and closing duties of the departmentAssists with keeping the team on track with packing, deliveries, stock and prep duties and cleaning the facilityAssess bakery inventory and utilizes pack sheets to properly organize catering ordersEnsures that the team provides an extraordinary guest experience at every deliveryWho you are:You thrive on going the extra mile for your customers and providing an extraordinary customer experience in every transactionHigh energy that can multitask to meet the daily needs and expectations while ensuring the team meets the deadlines for deliveriesYou are optimistic in the face of problems and you’re capable of finding solutions quickly and effectivelyYou are very organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!You have an entrepreneurial mindset with the capability of managing work independentlyQuick thinking on your feet and no problem is too big or small for youYou do not wait for direction and are always looking for ways to improve the departmentPrior experience in catering preferredYou are are a morning person - shift times regularly begin at 4am but can sometimes require an earlier start timeWhat it takes to succeed:4-5 years of experience in a quick-service enviroment preferredFood Manager cardBe organized and extremely thorough Ability to read and create checklists and spreadsheetsStrong written/verbal communication skillsBe able to work in a small space amongst other teams with a high level of productivity Be able to lift/move boxes up to 50lbsBe incredibly reliable - on time and flexible Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordAble to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e., sunny, wet and/or humid conditions)Must love dogs, coffee and community!Benefits:Paid PTOMedical, Dental, Vision Benefits401K matchingHourly - $22-24/hr Please send your resume and cover letter to be considered.
