CCTV & Access Control Technician

DescriptionAbout the PositionTTK Surveillance is looking for a skilled and reliable CCTV Technician to join our growing technical team.The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of CCTV and related security systems at various client sites.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure IP and analogue CCTV systems.Install and terminate network and CCTV cabling.Configure DVRs, NVRs, cameras and network switches.Troubleshoot CCTV cameras, recording systems and network connectivity.Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.Diagnose and repair faulty CCTV equipment.Configure remote viewing and mobile applications.Conduct system testing and commissioning.Complete installation and service work neatly and professionally.Complete job cards, reports and required documentation.Communicate professionally with clients and provide feedback on completed work.Travel to different client sites when required.Minimum RequirementsPrevious experience as a CCTV Technician.Good knowledge of IP CCTV systems.Experience with DVRs and NVRs.Understanding of TCP/IP networking.Experience with network switches, routers and basic network troubleshooting.Ability to terminate network and CCTV cables.Ability to fault-find independently.Valid driver's licence & Own vehicleClear criminal record.Good communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Advantageous SkillsExperience with:HikvisionDahuaUniviewAccess controlElectric fencingAlarm systemsPoint-to-point wireless linksCCTV monitoring systemsWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is:Reliable and punctual.Technically competent.Professional and presentable.Able to work under pressure.A good problem solver.Customer-focused.Willing to travel.Able to take responsibility for their work.Safety-conscious.Prepared to work overtime when required.SalarySalary: Negotiable based on experience and technical ability.How to ApplyIf you are an experienced CCTV Technician looking for an opportunity to join a growing security technology company, we would like to hear from you.Send your CV to: admin@ttksurveillance.co.zaSubject: CCTV Technician ApplicationOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
