The team values quality advising, ethical practices, and learner-centered support.Role Description The CELTA Qualified Tutor will deliver high-quality English language instruction to learners preparing for IELTS, TOEFL, and other academic English requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based in Islamabad and involves planning and teaching engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The tutor will design course materials aligned with exam formats and learning outcomes, support learners with speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills, and integrate communicative teaching methodologies. Daily activities include conducting group classes and one-to-one sessions, maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, and collaborating with educational consultants to align language support with students’ broader study-abroad plans. The tutor will also participate in curriculum development, contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices, and help foster an inclusive, motivating classroom environment.Qualifications CELTA (or equivalent internationally recognized TEFL qualification) and demonstrated experience teaching English to speakers of other languages.Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and delivering communicative, learner-centered instruction for exam preparation (IELTS/TOEFL).Ability to assess language proficiency, provide clear feedback, and track learner progress using appropriate assessment tools.Excellent spoken and written English, with strong interpersonal, mentoring, and cross-cultural communication skills.Comfort working with digital teaching tools, online resources, and basic educational technology to support learning.Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Experience working in language institutes or higher-education settings is an advantage, especially in exam-focused programs.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, show cultural sensitivity, and maintain an inclusive, non-discriminatory classroom environment.
