Certified Dental Assistant

Role Description The Certified Dental Assistant will support dentists in delivering safe and efficient dental care during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, arranging instruments and materials, assisting chairside, and ensuring proper infection control and sterilization protocols. The role involves taking and recording patient information, supporting patient education on oral hygiene, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The assistant will also help with scheduling, patient flow, and coordination of lab work as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Duri Clinic Medical Center in Abu Dhabi.QualificationsStrong clinical support skills in Dental Assisting, including chairside assistance and patient preparation.Solid knowledge of Dentistry and Dental Care principles, with the ability to support a range of procedures.Competence in Oral Care education, helping patients understand preventive practices and post-treatment instructions.Demonstrated experience in Sterilization and infection control, following established protocols and safety standards.Recognized certification as a Dental Assistant; eligibility to practice in Abu Dhabi according to local regulations.Attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to follow clinical instructions accurately.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused and culturally sensitive approach.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapt to evolving technologies and procedures.
