We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant II (Spanish/English) to provide both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care, supporting physicians and nurses, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.This position combines direct patient care responsibilities with administrative support and is ideal for a certified Medical Assistant who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.ResponsibilitiesClinical SupportGreet and assist patients during office visitsObtain and document patient medical histories, symptoms, and vital signsEnter patient information accurately into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsAdminister injections and medications as permitted by certification and state regulationsPerform diagnostic testing and screeningsCollect specimens and perform phlebotomy procedures as neededClean, sterilize, and maintain medical equipmentPrepare and maintain examination roomsCollaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient careAdministrative SupportSchedule appointments and assist with patient flowMaintain accurate patient records and documentationSupport operational and customer service activities within the clinicAssist with data entry, reporting, and administrative tasksEnsure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and patient privacy requirementsRequired QualificationsBilingual in Spanish and English1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience providing direct patient care in a back-office clinical settingActive Medical Assistant certification or registration (CMA, RMA, or equivalent state-recognized credential)Current CPR certificationLess than 2 years of professional leadership experienceExperience working in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environmentProficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to complete required Tuberculosis (TB) screeningPassion for delivering exceptional patient care and improving consumer experiencesPreferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentHands-on professional phlebotomy experienceExperience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsExperience with HEDIS measures and quality initiativesActive Medical Assistant certification through organizations such as:American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)National Healthcareer Association (NHA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)American Medical Technologists (AMT)Active Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification/licenseWork Environment: Outpatient healthcare setting with direct patient interaction.
