Teachers in this position be able to do the following:Strong content knowledge in Physical Education (PE) and Health Education Able to create lesson plans for PE and Health for 6th, 7th, or 8th grade studentsExperience/comfort with online applications to enhance learningUse data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practicesReceptive to weekly coaching and committed to growing and strengthening practiceProvide consistent rewards and/or consequences for student behaviorImplement multiple techniques for increased student engagement and checking for understanding Familiarity with Google Classroom and virtual meeting platformsCommunicate effectively with students, families, and colleaguesEssential QualificationsBachelor’s degree Teaching experience in an upper elementary, middle, or high schoolAdept interpersonal and communication skills to diverse audiences Valid NJ Teaching Certification
