Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) with experience

BeWell Associates of State College, PA seeks a motivated, experienced candidate who exudes positive energy, practices excellent counseling skills, and is motivated by a team approach, to provide customized nutrition programs for individual clients. A strong working knowledge of supplements and their clinical application is a must, knowledge of functional testing is a plus.Please note that this is a full-time, in-person position and is located in the home of Penn State University’s main campus in beautiful Central Pennsylvania.Responsibilities include:· Assess medical history, intake information, outside labs, etc· Provide nutrition assessment and develop personalized protocols that include dietary plans, supplement recommendations and lifestyle practices that are customized to meet each clients identified needs· Maintain client records through Practice Better, · Practice collaboratively with other team members· Attend weekly clinical meetings and in-service as needed· Model professional demeanor, appearance, attire, clinical skill and ethical behavior at all times· Support the mission and values of BeWell Associates in all ways.

Qualifications

· Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition and Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential· Minimum of two years experience in a clinical setting focused on clinical nutrition or integrative health (functional nutrition/medicine, holistic nutrition/medicine)· Excellent clinical abilities with willingness to learn new skills· Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills· Proficient practice management skills· Familiarity with EMR (Practice Better)· Commitment to maintain credentials and continuing education as part of professional licensureSalary commensurate with skills and experience $72k-$82k plus benefitsIf you can check all the boxes and wish an interview, please send your resume with 3 references to: monica@bewellassociates.com
