fundcraft is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team during a pivotal phase of hyper-growth. Reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with the Board, the CFO will serve as the strategic architect of fundcraft's financial strategy, corporate growth, and capital allocation across European markets.As fundcraft prepares for its next growth stage, the CFO will co-lead fundraising initiatives, champion investor relations, and build an investor-grade financial engine. You will own financial operations across our Luxembourg, Spanish, and French entities, lead and scale a team of finance professionals, and ensure our financial architecture underpins fundcraft's ambition to transform alternative asset management infrastructure.RequirementsExecutive Leadership & Strategic GrowthPartner with the co-founders, the CEO and executive team to shape and execute company-wide growth strategies, business models, and profitability roadmapsSpearhead corporate development strategy, evaluating strategic partnerships, M&A opportunities, and new geographic market entryDirect capital allocation, cash management, liquidity planning, and unit economics optimization to align financial execution with enterprise value creationFundraising, Investor Relations & Board GovernanceCo-lead fundcraft's equity and debt fundraising strategy alongside the CEO, engaging directly with institutional investors, venture capital funds, and strategic partnersDrive the narrative for external capital raises, managing the buildout of financial models, investor presentations, data rooms, and due diligence processesOwn board-level financial reporting, delivering transparent insights, risk assessments, and scenario analyses to the Board of DirectorsFinancial Operations, Compliance & International TaxOversee multi-jurisdictional financial operations across Luxembourg, Spain, and France, ensuring total regulatory compliance and reporting standards across all legal entitiesDirect transfer pricing strategy, intercompany agreements, tax optimization, and treasury functions in alignment with local and EU regulatory requirementsMaintain rigorous internal controls, risk management protocols, and audit readiness under relevant accounting frameworks (IFRS / local GAAPs)Commercial FP&A & AI IntelligenceBuild and refine long-range financial planning processes, unit economics frameworks (CAC, LTV, NRR), and dynamic pricing strategiesChampion an AI-native finance function by embedding modern AI tools and automated financial workflows to elevate predictive analytics, speed up reporting, and maximize productivityTranslate complex operational data into actionable commercial insights for department leadersTeam Leadership & Organizational ScalingLead, mentor, and expand the finance organization (currently 4 direct reports), building a world-class team aligned with high-performance standardsEstablish a culture of operational excellence, continuous learning, continuous technological integration, and high integrity across the finance functionQualifications & ExperienceLeadership Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership, with proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent leadership role in a high-growth tech or fintech company, preferably in a regulated environmentTrack Record in VC-backed companies: Demonstrated experience leading or co-leading successful venture capital rounds, growth equity fundraising, or debt financing processesMulti-Jurisdictional Expertise: Deep operational familiarity with European regulatory, legal, and tax environments (direct experience operating in Luxembourg, Spain, or France preferred)Industry Domain Knowledge: Background in financial services, alternative asset management, or fund administration software/tech ecosystems is highly desirableAI-Native Mindset: Active practitioner of modern finance tools, automation, and AI platforms to streamline FP&A, reporting, and operational efficiencyEducation & Credentials: Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics;
