Your new role Lead the overall finance function, including financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, taxation, internal controls, and compliancePartner with the CEO and senior leadership team on strategic planning, business growth initiatives, and investment decisionsEnsure full compliance with HKEX Listing Rules, IFRS/HKFRS, and regulatory requirementsOversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and working capital optimisationDrive business performance through insightful financial analysis and KPI managementLead investor relations activities, including results announcements, board reporting, and shareholder communicationsManage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and treasury strategiesStrengthen corporate governance, risk management, and internal control frameworksLead fundraising, banking relationship, strategic partnerships, and regional projectsBuild and develop a high-performing finance team across Hong Kong and regional officesWhat you'll need to succeed Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplineQualified CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within listed companies, trading, retail, sourcing or distribution sectors, big 4 experience is highly preferredProven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or Group Financial Controller in a Hong Kong listed environmentStrong understanding of HKEX regulations, corporate governance, and investor relationsCommercially astute with strong business partnering capabilitiesExperience managing regional finance operations and leading transformation initiativesDemonstrated success in driving growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-makingStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skillsFluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin preferredAble to work in Shenzhen What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' or for further information and a confidential discussion on this role or to find out about more opportunities in Accounting/ Finance, contact Lorraine and email your CV to lorraine.shan@hays.com.hk
