CHA Operations Manager

ResponsibilitiesManage daily import and export customs clearance activities; ensure timely filing of Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, and other customs documents; monitor the shipment clearance cycle from documentation to out-of-charge/LEO.Supervise CHA executives, customs clearance staff, documentation staff, and field executives; allocate work and monitor productivity; conduct regular team reviews and resolve operational issues.Coordinate with Customs officers, Customs Brokers, examination officers, appraisers, Docks/Terminal authorities, and other government agencies for smooth clearance.Handle escalations from customers regarding customs clearance delays, queries, duty issues, examinations, documentation, and delivery timelines; provide regular shipment updates.Monitor customs duty calculations, assessments, reassessments, duty payments, refunds, and other customs-related financial matters; coordinate with customers/accounts for timely payments.Ensure operations comply with Customs regulations, CBIC requirements, DGFT regulations, GST requirements, and other applicable government procedures; maintain proper records for audits.Coordinate physical examination of cargo, respond to Customs queries, submit required supporting documents, and follow up on queries until resolution.Coordinate with transporters, CFS/ICD/port/terminal teams and warehouse teams to ensure cargo is moved promptly after customs clearance.Coordinate with CFS, terminal operators, transporters, surveyors, fumigation agencies, and other service providers; monitor service quality and resolve operational issues.QualificationsShould be a G card Holder.7+ years of experience in a similar roleProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong operational and communication skillsStrong ability to multitask
