All services are delivered in line with rigorous international healthcare standards, offering a dynamic and professional environment for healthcare careers.Role Description The Charge Nurse is responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and hospital policies within an assigned unit. This includes organizing staff assignments, monitoring patient conditions, supporting complex procedures, and facilitating communication among multidisciplinary teams. The Charge Nurse oversees documentation, maintains infection control and safety standards, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. The role involves mentoring and supporting nursing team members, addressing patient and family concerns, and assisting with resource and workflow management to ensure efficient unit operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Saudi German Hospital in Cairo.Qualifications Strong clinical nursing skills in acute and tertiary care settings, including patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of evidence-based practices.Demonstrated leadership and team coordination abilities, with experience in supervising staff, delegating tasks, and managing unit operations.Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, patients, and families.Knowledge of hospital policies, infection control practices, patient safety standards, and quality improvement methodologies.Competence in using electronic medical records and basic computer applications relevant to clinical documentation and reporting.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent recognized qualification) and valid nursing license/registration in Egypt.Prior experience as a senior staff nurse or in a charge/lead role in a hospital environment; tertiary care or critical care experience is an advantage.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to emergency and high-acuity situations.Commitment to continuous professional development, ethical practice, and culturally sensitive patient care.Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
