Job Title: Chartering OfficerLocation: Dubai, UAEJob Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chartering Officer with 2–3 years of GCC experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in vessel chartering, freight negotiations, and coordinating with ship owners, brokers, and clients to ensure smooth commercial operations.Key Responsibilities:* Identify and secure suitable chartering opportunities for vessels.* Negotiate freight rates, charter party terms, and commercial agreements.* Liaise with ship owners, charterers, brokers, and agents.* Prepare and review charter party contracts and related documentation.* Monitor vessel schedules and coordinate with operations for smooth execution.* Maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.* Analyze market trends, freight rates, and vessel availability.* Ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations.* Prepare periodic reports on chartering activities and market developments.Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.* 2–3 years of chartering experience within the GCC maritime/shipping industry. * Strong negotiation and communication skills.* Knowledge of charter party agreements and shipping documentation.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.Email your CV to hr@mccship.com
