Guided by a “passion to protect,” NAFFCO aims to be the world’s number one provider of innovative solutions that safeguard life, the environment, and property.Role Description The Chassis Senior Production Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing chassis production processes for specialized vehicles within NAFFCO’s manufacturing facilities. This role includes planning and coordinating production activities, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that chassis assemblies meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The engineer will monitor production performance, analyze data to identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Daily tasks involve close collaboration with design, quality, procurement, and workshop teams, resolving technical issues on the shop floor, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role also entails preparing production reports, contributing to technical documentation, and providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.Qualifications Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with experience in chassis or automotive manufacturing environments.Well-developed Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data analysis, and process optimization.Proficiency in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.Expertise in Quality Control practices, standards compliance, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing clear technical guidance.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are an advantage.Experience with CAD tools, manufacturing ERP systems, and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.Knowledge of relevant international standards and regulations for vehicle chassis and safety systems.Ability to work on-site in a dynamic manufacturing environment in Dubai and manage multiple priorities safely and efficiently.
