They translate the Director's strategic direction into concrete actions and oversee the day to day operations of the department by engaging associates to achieve performance, quality, and efficiency objectives.They oversee the planning, coordination, and quality of training activities, as well as the continuous evolution of training content and practices. They ensure that training activities address identified needs and support the development of knowledge and skills.They implement organizational direction within their team while fostering associate development and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. They act as a frontline manager and serve as the link between the strategy defined by the Director and the operational execution of training activities.On a typical day, you will perform the following responsibilities:Operations ManagementPlan, coordinate, and supervise training activities to ensure effective and consistent deliveryEstablish priorities and allocate resources based on training needs and organizational prioritiesMonitor activities, performance indicators, and team objectivesEnsure the quality, consistency, and uniform application of training processes and practicesOversee the development, review, and optimization of course plans, content, tools, and training materialsEnsure training content remains current based on changes to applications, processes, and needsUnderstand and monitor dashboards and prepare required management reportsIdentify gaps and implement appropriate corrective actionsCoordinate training activities related to changes, production releases, and new functionalitiesParticipate in the implementation of new training related processes, tools, or technologiesPromote the optimal use of digital tools, automation solutions, and emerging technologies.Quality and Continuous ImprovementMonitor the quality and effectiveness of training activitiesAnalyze results, participant feedback, and other available data to identify improvement opportunitiesImplement actions required to continuously improve training content, methods, and the training experienceCollaborate with various stakeholders to identify and prioritize training needsIdentify and contribute to continuous improvement and transformation initiatives within the departmentPromote the sharing of best practices and the standardization of training approachesEnsure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards applicable to activities under their responsibility.Associate ManagementLead, engage, and support associates under their responsibilityProvide regular coaching to develop skills and foster continuous improvementEstablish individual objectives, monitor progress, and conduct performance evaluationsBe responsible for succession planningContribute to achieving associate satisfaction and retention targetsPlan schedules, availability, and replacement needs to ensure continuity of activitiesParticipate in the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and integration of new associatesManage performance, disciplinary, and employee relations matters in collaboration with the DirectorFoster a respectful, inclusive, collaborative, and engaging work environment.Financial ManagementUnderstand day to day factors that have a financial impact on team activitiesUnderstand operational budgets and ensure the efficient use of human, financial, and technological resources.Position RequirementsCollege diploma (DEC) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Training, Education, or a related field, or any other relevant combination of education and experienceRelevant experience in training, skills development, or a related fieldExperience in a team management or supervisory roleDemonstrated ability to contribute to the development of team membersGood understanding of training, skills development, and learning principlesStrong analytical and synthesis skills, as well as well developed organizational and planning abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and coordinate different activities simultaneouslyAbility to analyze results and implement required improvement actionsResults oriented, with a strong focus on continuous improvementStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholdersAdvanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suiteExcellent proficiency in both French and English, written and spokenPersonal competencies: leadership, communication, collaboration, results orientation, problem solving, and adaptabilityDemonstrate openness to emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, and act as a change ambassador by promoting their adoption within the team.Your future duties and responsibilitiesRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This RoleTogether, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.Life at CGI is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect and belonging.
