Our skilled professionals, supported by their extensive experience in the chemical manufacturing industry deliver technical excellence, in-market-value and efficiency through locally manufactured and blended tailor-made solutions.Sichem is part of Mazrui International, diversified holding group with businesses across different industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, Engineering Services, Real Estate, Construction, Retail, Trading, Distribution, Logistics, Transportation, Hospitality, Education etc.Websites:https://sichem.ae/https://www.mazruiinternational.ae/ (Main Holding Group)Job Title: Chemical Plant / Process OperatorReporting to: Production SupervisorJob Objective: To perform tasks related to routine production and other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Senior Operators.Key Responsibilities/Duties:Operate reactors, mixers, pumps, and other process equipment in accordance with approved SOPs and batch instructions.Charge raw materials, monitor process parameters, and ensure batch production is completed safely and efficiently.Perform routine inspections and record process data, production results, and equipment status accurately.Collect product samples and support quality control activities to ensure compliance with specifications.Identify and report process deviations, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns promptly.Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and workplace safety in the production area.Support maintenance, troubleshooting, startup, shutdown, and continuous improvement activities as required.Conduct specific routine production tasks as directed by Supervisor / Management.To understand and follow basic safety regulations during the course of the work, and to develop understanding of all company QHSE standards & operational procedures.Follow instructions from Production Supervisor and Senior Operators for day-to-day activities.Participate in the sustainability program. Specialized Knowledge:Field Operations in chemical process industryOperation of Pumps, Compressors, Reactors, columns, Tank farmsAbility & Skills:Basic communication skills in English, written and verbal.Basic mathematics skills like addition, subtraction, multiplication with /without a calculator.Good physical strength and healthy.Basic understanding of equipment operations in production sectionExperience:Experience required – 2 - 5 years in Chemical Process Industries.Minimum 2 years excluding the training period (if training is for one year, then 1+2 years required) and/or Minimum1 year as Assistant Operator Academic Qualifications:Minimum Higher Secondary School level (Grade 12) and/or ITI (Technical Trades) OR relevant industry experiencePlease apply by attaching your CV only if you have relevant experience and qualificationsDue to high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
