Chemist

We are seeking a Chemist for a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. The role will support daily laboratory operations, performing chemical analysis, testing, and reporting activities while ensuring compliance with quality assurance and quality control standards, including ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.The Chemist will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing of soil and water samples, operating laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate records, and preparing technical reports. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret test results and ensure accurate reportingKey ResponsibilitiesPerform chemical analysis and laboratory testing of soil and water samplesOperate, maintain, and monitor laboratory instruments and equipmentRecord test results accurately and prepare laboratory reportsFollow laboratory procedures and quality control requirementsSupport compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and laboratory best practicesMaintain proper documentation and ensure data accuracyAssist with equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenanceCollaborate with laboratory team members to complete testing requirements efficientlyQualificationsBachelor’s degree in chemistry, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or a related fieldMinimum 2–5 years of experience in a chemistry laboratory environmentExperience in soil and/or water testing is preferredKnowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality control practices, and laboratory equipmentFamiliarity with LIMS systems is preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamArabic language skills preferred
