The company focuses on on-time delivery, strong quality assurance, and close collaboration with customers across sectors such as construction, oil and gas, water filtration, detergents, plastics, and cosmetics.Role Description The Chemistry Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves planning, conducting, and documenting laboratory experiments related to construction chemicals, mineral processing, coatings, and other specialty products. The Chemistry Specialist will develop and optimize formulations, support research and development projects, analyze raw materials and finished products, and ensure compliance with internal quality standards and relevant regulations. Day-to-day tasks include performing chemical analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with production, quality assurance, and sales teams to address customer-specific requirements. The role also requires participation in troubleshooting product performance issues, supporting customer trials, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and materials.Qualifications Strong foundation in Chemistry, with knowledge of inorganic, organic, and industrial chemistry relevant to construction chemicals and related sectors.Proficient Analytical Skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, data interpretation, and use of standard laboratory instruments and techniques.Solid Laboratory Skills covering safe handling of chemicals, experimental design, sample preparation, testing procedures, and accurate documentation.Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including formulation development, product optimization, and problem-solving in a manufacturing or industrial context.Effective Communication skills to prepare clear reports, present findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.Familiarity with industrial standards, quality control practices, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.Ability to work independently on laboratory tasks while contributing to team-based projects in a fast-paced industrial environment.Prior experience in construction chemicals, coatings, mineral processing, or related industries is an
