Chief Accountant

Job DescriptionLead and oversee accounting operations across the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.Develop, standardize, and continuously improve financial and accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and governance frameworks across the organization.Design and implement a robust management accounting system to support performance monitoring by business unit, subsidiary, and project, with a focus on renewable energy, infrastructure, and real estate investments.Establish budgeting, cost control, cash flow management, and financial reporting processes to enhance business performance and risk management.Prepare and oversee standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and coordinate effectively with auditors, tax authorities, financial institutions, and other regulatory bodies.Support fundraising, investment activities, and strategic decision-making through financial analysis, budgeting, and capital planning.Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team while driving continuous improvement across finance and accounting functions.Job Requirements:ExperienceBachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related discipline.Valid Chief Accountant Certificate is required; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications are highly preferred.8–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including 3–5 years as Chief Accountant or in an equivalent leadership role within a medium-to-large organization or multi-entity group.Proven experience in designing or transforming finance and accounting functions, including management accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and consolidated financial reporting.Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, or project-based investment businesses is highly desirable.SkillsStrong leadership, people management, and stakeholder management capabilities.Excellent financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and risk management skills.Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance.Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Office.Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with auditors, banks, investors, and international business partners.High integrity, sound judgment, and strong commitment to confidentiality.Benefits:Competitive salary package, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.Full statutory insurance coverage in accordance with Vietnamese labor law, plus additional healthcare insurance under company policy.Performance-based bonus, 13th-month salary, and bonuses for public holidays and special occasions.Annual salary review based on performance and contribution.Company trips once per year (domestic or international).Annual health check-up.12 annual leave days.Participation in company events, monthly birthday celebrations, year-end parties, and team activities.Dynamic, professional, and collaborative working environment with opportunities to work directly with senior industry experts and leading global partners in the energy sector.Opportunity to contribute to top-tier renewable energy projects in Vietnam and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.Working hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 – 17:30), off on weekendsWorking location: 4th Floor, Sun Grand City Building, No. 3 Luong Yen, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi
