Clients can manage their finances through a smart, intuitive dashboard available on desktops and mobile apps for iOS and Android.Genome is looking for a Chief Accountant!1. Accounting & Compliance ExcellenceMaintain full accounting compliance with company policies, IFRS, and Bank of Lithuania reporting standards.Develop, approve, and continuously optimize accounting workflows to scale alongside Genome’s growth.Supervise daily financial operations, including administrative accounting, tax assessments, and timely tax filings.Act as a key participant in our "4-eyes principle," approving and creating systemic payment transactions within the Genome platform.2. Regulatory Reporting & Audit ManagementTake full ownership of financial compliance regarding Bank of Lithuania audit and regulatory procedures.Stay ahead of legislative shifts and new BoL requirements, proactively initiating operational changes and preparing precise regulatory submissions.Lead the end-to-end preparation for external financial audits, championing internal control improvements whenever opportunities are identified.3. Team Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, nurture, and lead a center of excellence within our finance department.Define clear goals, guide individual performance, and foster a strong culture of work ethics, precision, and commitment.Skills & ExperienceYou bring 5+ years of overall experience in a senior accounting role, with at least 3+ years specifically in the Fintech/EMI sector (a must).You possess a deep, hands-on understanding of IFRS and Bank of Lithuania reporting requirements.You hold a higher education degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.You are comfortable working with modern, automated ERP systems (experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly valued).You have a proven track record of managing, mentoring, and developing finance professionals.You have an exceptional ability to absorb complex information quickly, paired with sharp attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.You are fluent in both Lithuanian and English (our primary working languages).BenefitsWe offer flexible working hours (you can start your day between 7.00 - 10.00 and finish it accordingly).After a successful probation period we offer 6 days from home per month and you may use these days in any way that best suits your needs throughout the month.In our new office in Vilnius, start your day with a snack and a freshly brewed cup of coffee.We care about our employees' health so we provide medical insurance after a successful probation period.To support your physical and mental wellness, we partially compensate for sports activities (gyms, pools, clubs, etc.) and therapy sessions.We support your career growth and encourage you to consider open internal positions or you can refer a good candidate and get a referral bonus.We have smaller celebrations in our office (Company birthday, other memorable days and team building with your team).CompensationSalary range: from 5,300 EUR gross monthly**Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience.
