Team members join a high-impact environment that emphasizes clarity, structure, and long-term success for clients across diverse sectors.Role Description The Chief Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and financial reporting for the organization and its client entities. The role includes managing the general ledger, supervising monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and ensuring accurate preparation of financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards. The Chief Accountant monitors cash flow, reconciles accounts, manages payroll and expense approvals, and oversees accounts payable and receivable. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve implementing and maintaining robust internal control systems, coordinating audits, supporting tax and regulatory compliance, and providing financial analysis to support advisory projects and strategic decision-making. The role includes mentoring and supervising accounting staff, optimizing accounting processes, and collaborating closely with advisory teams and senior leadership to align financial practices with business objectives.Qualifications Strong technical accounting expertise, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and consolidation of accounts.Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.Experience with internal controls, audit coordination, and compliance with relevant accounting, tax, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., IFRS).Advanced skills in accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.Proven ability to lead and supervise accounting teams, delegate tasks effectively, and develop talent.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with advisory teams, external stakeholders, and senior management.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are highly preferred.Relevant experience in corporate services, advisory, or multi-entity environments in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
