Chief Accountant

Chief Accountant | Tashkent, UzbekistanWe are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join a multinational airport development project in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.Manage tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax requirements.Maintain fixed asset records and support capital project accounting activities.Develop accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.Support ERP system selection and implementation.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, DipIFR, or equivalent).Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.Experience in infrastructure, construction, or large capital projects is preferred.Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and ERP systems.Fluency in English, Russian, and Uzbek is required.Interested candidates are welcome to apply or contact us for further information.
