Chief Accountant

Job Purpose:Record the financial transaction and support the Finance Director in reviewing financial reports, overseeing company accounts, managing tax declarations, monitoring bank accounts and cash flow, and handling a variety of accounting tasks to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.Roles & Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & ReviewReviewing, analyzing, and validating all financial reports and statements.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of company accounts.Taxation & CompliancePrepare and submit periodic tax declarations in compliance with local regulations.Liaise with tax advisors and ensure timely fulfilment of tax obligations.Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and explanations.Banking & Cash Flow ManagementMonitor bank accounts, including reconciliations, fund transfers, and transaction tracking.Manage and forecast company cash flow to support liquidity planning.Accounting Operations & Process ImprovementOversee daily accounting operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.Supervise and guide accountants in performing their duties.Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems.Coordination & SupportCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.Handle other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Director.General: Performing any tasks assigned by the CFOResponsible for covering and carrying out the accounting responsibilities of team members during their leave.Qualification:10+ years of experience in finance or accounting in a similar roleBachelor’s Degree is a mustExcellent English & Arabic CommandKnowledge of banking operationsMS Excel Proficiency
