We’re Hiring: Chief Accounting Officer (Vile Parle East, Mumbai)About Bawa GroupEstablished in 1972, Bawa Group is a premier corporate entity in Mumbai with a strong footprint across Hospitality, Real Estate, and Health & Wellness, operating well-known properties like Hotel Bawa International, Hotel Bawa Continental, and The Bawa Kitchen.Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Chief Accounting Officer with 3 to 5 years of same position experience to join our finance team at Vile Parle East. You will handle accounting, statutory filings, and monthly books closure.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain control over general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R).Statutory Compliance: Handle monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation) and TDS compliance (deposits, quarterly returns, Form 16/16A).Monthly Closings: Prepare trial balance, month-end P&L, balance sheet schedules, and MIS reports for management.Audit Coordination: Prepare schedules for statutory, internal, and GST audits; liaise with external CAs.RequirementsEducation: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA.Experience: 5 years in same senior accounting roles (Hospitality/Hotel industry experience is a plus).

Location: Must be based in Mumbai (local candidate preferred).Software: Advanced hands-on experience in Tally Prime and Tally ERP 9.

Technical Skills

Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and practical knowledge of GST/TRACES portals.
