Chief AI Engineer - Multi-Sensor Fusion & Autonomous Systems

Role OverviewLead the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions for defense applications, focusing on multi-sensor fusion, autonomous perception, GPS-denied navigation, swarm intelligence, and edge AI systems. Drive programs from research and prototyping to operational deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop AI-powered intelligence fusion and anomaly detection systems.Design thermal/IR target detection, tracking, and classification solutions for autonomous platforms.Build Visual Odometry and SLAM-based navigation systems for GPS-denied environments.Lead swarm AI and multi-agent coordination initiatives.Architect sensor fusion solutions integrating EO/IR, LiDAR, radar, IMU, GNSS, and acoustic sensors.Manage AI researchers, software engineers, and systems integration teams.Required ExpertiseAI/ML, Computer Vision, Sensor Fusion, and Autonomous Systems.Multi-Object Tracking, Thermal/IR Analytics, and Edge AI Deployment.SLAM frameworks (ORB-SLAM3, LIO-SAM, OpenVINS).Swarm Intelligence and Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning.Python, C++, ROS2, PyTorch, TensorFlow, TensorRT, and NVIDIA Jetson.Qualifications & ExperiencePh.D. or M.Sc. in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience.Experience delivering AI-enabled systems in contested or GPS-denied environments is highly desirable.
