💼 Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)Location: United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time🌟 About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced, strategic, and highly ethical Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to join our executive leadership team 😊In this role, you’ll lead the organisation’s compliance and regulatory framework, oversee compliance risk management, and ensure business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Board, senior management, legal, risk, finance, and business teams to promote a strong culture of integrity and accountability 🚀🛠 Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead the organisation’s overall compliance strategy and frameworkEstablish, maintain, and continuously improve compliance policies, procedures, and internal controlsIdentify, assess, monitor, and report regulatory and compliance risks 🔍Advise the CEO, Board, and senior leadership on significant compliance matters and regulatory developmentsOversee compliance monitoring, testing, investigations, and remediation programmesEnsure the organisation complies with applicable UAE laws, regulations, and industry requirementsLead regulatory reporting, licensing, and compliance-related communications where applicableOversee AML/KYC, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, data protection, and other relevant compliance programmesCoordinate internal and external regulatory audits and examinationsDevelop and maintain compliance risk assessments, registers, and reporting frameworks 📊Establish appropriate compliance training and awareness programmes across the organisationInvestigate potential compliance breaches and ensure appropriate escalation and corrective actionMonitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards and assess their business impactLead and develop the compliance team and promote a strong culture of ethical conduct 🔐Provide regular compliance, risk, and regulatory updates to the Board and executive leadershipWork with legal, risk, internal audit, cybersecurity, finance, and business teams on enterprise-wide risk matters✅ What We’re Looking ForExtensive senior-level experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, legal, audit, or financial crime preventionStrong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, and compliance risk managementExcellent understanding of AML/KYC, sanctions, anti-bribery, internal controls, and regulatory complianceStrong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilitiesProven ability to advise senior executives and Board-level stakeholdersStrong leadership and team-management experienceHigh level of integrity, independence, confidentiality, and professional judgementAbility to manage complex regulatory matters in a fast-paced business environment 🌟🎓 QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, Accounting, or a related fieldProfessional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CCEP, CFE, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirableExtensive experience in senior compliance, risk, regulatory, AML, audit, or governance rolesStrong knowledge of relevant UAE regulatory requirements is preferredExperience working with regulators, auditors, Boards, or highly regulated organisations is advantageous💡 Why Join Us?Flexible working arrangements 🏡Opportunity to shape and lead the organisation’s compliance strategyDirect exposure to the CEO, Board, and executive leadership teamSupportive and high-performance leadership environment 😊Opportunity to strengthen enterprise-wide governance, risk, and compliance capabilitiesExposure to regulatory affairs, AML/KYC, financial crime prevention, and corporate governanceOpportunity to lead and develop a high-performing compliance function 🚀📩 How to ApplyReady to take the next step in your executive compliance career? 🚀
