Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and strengthening the organization’s compliance framework across all operational and strategic activities. The CCO will develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable regulations and internal standards, ensuring they are understood and followed throughout the organization. Daily responsibilities include monitoring regulatory changes, conducting risk assessments, reviewing key business processes, and advising leadership on compliance requirements and implications. The CCO will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide compliance training and guidance, and lead investigations and remediation efforts for potential compliance issues. This role also involves preparing clear compliance reports and documentation for executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.QualificationsStrong expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, with a proven ability to design and oversee comprehensive compliance programs.Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess regulatory risks, interpret complex requirements, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to convey compliance expectations clearly to stakeholders at all levels and prepare concise reports and policies.Solid understanding of Finance principles to evaluate the financial impact of compliance decisions and support sound governance and risk management.Relevant experience in senior compliance, legal, or risk management roles, ideally within large-scale projects, real estate, infrastructure, or entertainment sectors.Advanced degree or professional certification in law, compliance, finance, business, or a related field (e.g., CCEP, CRCM, or similar) is highly beneficial.Proven track record of working effectively in remote or distributed teams, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on compliance matters.
