Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)

Role Description The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility to work partly from home. The CCO will design, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures that align with applicable laws, platform guidelines, and ethical standards for online educational content. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments, assessing compliance risks related to content creation and community engagement, and advising on best practices for data privacy, intellectual property, and financial transparency. The CCO will collaborate closely with the founder to review scripts, publications, and monetization strategies, ensuring they meet compliance requirements and are communicated clearly to learners. The role also includes creating compliance documentation, conducting periodic internal reviews, and providing training and guidance to support a culture of integrity and accountability.QualificationsStrong expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, with the ability to design and maintain effective compliance frameworks.Robust Analytical Skills to assess risk, interpret regulations, and make informed recommendations for content and operational practices.Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex compliance topics in clear, accessible language.Solid understanding of Finance, particularly in relation to monetization, reporting, and ethical handling of funds for educational platforms.Experience in technology, online education, or digital platforms, with familiarity in data privacy and intellectual property considerations.Proven ability to work independently in a part-time, hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with a small, mission-driven team.Relevant degree or professional certification in law, compliance, finance, or a related field is preferred.High ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement
