Chief Data & AI Officer (CDAIO)

MissionThe Chief Data & AI Officer will build Data & AI into one of Trustify’s primary growth engines, transforming Trustify from a traditional software engineering company into an AI-powered digital engineering and technology solutions company.The CDAIO will own Trustify’s Data & AI strategy across three dimensions: Customer Solutions + Proprietary IP + Internal AI TransformationThe role combines technology leadership, solution architecture, business development, delivery excellence, product development and organizational capability building.Data & AI StrategyDefine and execute Trustify’s global Data & AI strategy aligned with the company’s growth plan.Key responsibilities:· Define Trustify’s Data & AI technology roadmap.· Identify high-growth Data/AI service offerings.· Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms.· Define build/buy/partner decisions.· Establish technology standards, reference architectures and best practices.· Advise CEO and executive team on AI opportunities and investments.· Represent Data & AI in Trustify’s strategic planning and investment decisions.Key technology areas include:Data Engineering | Data Platforms | Data Governance | MDM | BI & Analytics | ML | GenAI | Agentic AI | RAG | Computer Vision | Intelligent Automation2. Build the Data & AI BusinessThe CDAIO will have a commercial mandate, not just a technical mandate.Build Data & AI into a significant Trustify revenue practice.Responsibilities include:· Develop Data & AI service offerings and GTM propositions.· Work with Sales and industry GTM leaders on strategic opportunities.· Participate in C-level customer conversations.· Lead AI/Data discovery and solution workshops.· Support proposals, estimation and solution architecture.· Build demonstrations, accelerators and proof-of-concepts.· Develop strategic technology partnerships.· Help convert pilots into large-scale production programs and managed services.The CDAIO should help move Trustify from Staff Augmentation to IP / Platforms3.Industry AI SolutionsWork closely with Trustify’s vertical leaders to develop differentiated Data & AI solutions.Banking & Financial ServicesDevelop capabilities around:· AI banking assistants and agents· Customer 360· Credit/lending analytics· Fraud and risk analytics· Intelligent document processing· Data modernization· MDM and governance· Regulatory/reporting automationAirline/Travel/HospitalityDevelop:· AI customer-service agents· Passenger/customer 360· Personalization· Revenue optimization· Operational AI· Disruption-management assistants· Hotel AI concierge· Travel data platformsIoT/Telecom/Smart DevicesDevelop:· Computer vision· Predictive maintenance· Automated diagnostics· Device telemetry analytics· AI-powered QA and testingThe objective is to combine industry expertise + Data + AI + software engineering into differentiated Trustify solutions.4.Build Trustify AI Products & IPCreate reusable intellectual property rather than rebuilding solutions for every customer.Own the roadmap for:· Trustify AI Delivery Platform· AI agents and multi-agent frameworks· RAG/enterprise knowledge platforms· Data/AI accelerators· Industry-specific AI solutions· Reusable connectors and integrations· AI-powered testing and QA· AI CamDiag / automated diagnostics capabilities· Internal AI development frameworksEstablish clear criteria for deciding whether an initiative should remain a customer project, become an accelerator, or evolve into a commercial product.Target evolution: Customer Project → Reusable Component → Accelerator → Product/IP → Recurring Revenue5.AI-Powered Software EngineeringOwn Trustify’s transformation into an AI-native engineering organization.Drive AI adoption across the entire SDLC:Establish measurable improvements in:· Engineering productivity· Development velocity· Defect reduction· QA automation· Estimation accuracy· Delivery margin· Time-to-marketWork closely with CTO/Engineering leadership rather than replacing their responsibilities.6.Build the Data & AI OrganizationRecruit and develop a world-class Data & AI organization.Initially, some roles can remain shared with Engineering and vertical practices.Build competency frameworks, career paths, training and certification programs.7.Strategic Technology PartnershipsDevelop relationships and competencies around strategic technology ecosystems such as:AWS | Microsoft Azure | Google Cloud | Databricks | Snowflake | NVIDIAand selected enterprise Data/AI platforms relevant to Trustify’s target industries.The objective should not simply be certifications.Partnerships should generate: Capability + Joint GTM + Customer Leads + Delivery Opportunities8.Internal AI TransformationThe CDAIO should also make Trustify itself an AI-first company.Deploy AI across:EngineeringAI coding, testing and architecture.SalesResearch, account intelligence, proposal generation and outreach.RecruitmentCandidate sourcing, screening and matching.MarketingContent, campaigns and market intelligence.DeliveryProject risk, resource planning, quality and productivity analytics.ManagementExecutive dashboards, forecasting and decision-support agents.Trustify should become its own strongest reference customer for AI transformation.Candidate Profile· 15+ years in enterprise technology, Data, AI, software engineering or digital transformation.· 5+ years in senior Data/AI leadership.· Experience building and scaling Data/AI teams.· Strong Data Architecture and modern Data Platform background.· Strong understanding of GenAI, LLMs, RAG and Agentic AI.· Experience taking AI solutions from PoC into enterprise production.· Strong cloud experience.· Experience with enterprise customers and C-level stakeholders.· Commercial mindset and experience supporting sales/GTM.· Strong understanding of software engineering and delivery economics.· Experience developing reusable solutions/products is highly desirable.· Banking/financial services or another Trustify strategic vertical is highly desirable.Leadership CharacteristicWe are looking for a builder, not simply a corporate AI strategist.
