Chief Digital, Data & AI Officer – Global Media & Communications

Role PurposeWe are seeking an executive technology leader to drive Digital, Data, Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Products and Technology Transformation for a leading government communications organization.The successful candidate will define the organization's AI, Digital and Technology strategy while partnering with multiple media organizations to modernize digital platforms, enterprise products, data capabilities and customer experiences.This role is highly strategic and requires extensive experience working within media, publishing, broadcasting, digital news, content platforms or global communications organizations.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology StrategyDefine and execute the enterprise technology strategy aligned with business objectives.Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.Establish technology governance, enterprise architecture, and technology standards.Drive innovation using AI, cloud, automation, and emerging technologies.Digital & Media TechnologyLead modernization of digital platforms, websites, mobile applications, CMS, DAM, broadcasting, OTT, streaming, newsroom, and content technologies.Improve customer and audience digital experiences.Drive adoption of modern content technologies.Data & AIDefine enterprise data and AI strategy.Establish governance, quality, analytics, and AI operating models.Enable executive decision-making through enterprise analytics.Technology DeliveryLead complex technology transformation programs.Oversee technology portfolios, vendors, budgets, and strategic partnerships.Ensure successful delivery of enterprise platforms.Required Experience18+ years of technology leadership experience.At least 8 years in an executive technology role (CTO, CIO, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Technology & Digital Officer, or equivalent).Proven experience leading enterprise digital transformation.Experience managing organizations of 100+ technology professionals.Experience overseeing multi-million-dollar technology portfolios.Strong experience with cloud, AI, enterprise architecture, digital platforms, and data strategy.Experience working with executive committees and Boards.Candidates must currently work or have recently worked in one or more of the following industries:Global News OrganizationsBroadcastingDigital MediaPublishingNews AgenciesOTT / StreamingMedia TechnologyCorporate Communications PlatformsExamples include experience with organizations such as:ReutersBloombergFinancial TimesCNNBBCSky NewsAssociated PressAFPDow JonesThomson ReutersThe EconomistNBCDisneyWarner Bros.
