The organization is committed to expanding its reach and impact through thoughtful, values-based digital engagement.Role Description The Chief Digital Officer (CDO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading all digital initiatives for Ars Shazli Organization & Community. The CDO will design and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that supports the organization’s spiritual, educational, and community objectives across websites, social media, and communication platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing digital transformation projects, aligning IT and digital tools with organizational priorities, managing digital-related budgets and resources, and coordinating with other leaders to ensure consistent online presence and messaging. The role involves supervising digital projects from concept through execution, managing external vendors or internal teams, monitoring performance metrics, and continuously improving user experience for community members and stakeholders. The CDO will also ensure that digital practices respect the organization’s values, protect data privacy, and support sustainable growth.Qualifications Proven expertise in Digital Transformation and Digital Strategy, with the ability to modernize systems and enhance online engagement.Experience in IT Strategy and Strategic Planning to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and long-term vision.Strong Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver digital projects on time and within scope.Knowledge of digital platforms, web technologies, and analytics tools, including basic understanding of cybersecurity and data protection.Demonstrated leadership, team collaboration, and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional or community-focused settings.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear guidance for non-technical audiences.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Digital Media, Business, or related discipline); advanced qualifications are an advantage.Prior experience in non-profit, faith-based, or community organizations is beneficial, with sensitivity to cultural and religious values.
