Mandal Financial Group brings together 7 subsidiaries operating across diverse areas of the financial sector, including investment, asset management, insurance, and other financial services.We are looking for an experienced Chief Economist to provide high-quality macroeconomic research, forecasts, and strategic insights that support decision-making across the Group.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop FX forecasts and provide regular market outlooksMonitor and analyze Mongolia’s macroeconomic environment and key economic indicatorsConduct in-depth analysis of China’s economy and assess its potential impact on MongoliaAnalyze monetary and fiscal policy, government budget, inflation, interest rates, and exchange-rate movementsPrepare economic forecasts, scenarios, reports, and presentations for managementTranslate macroeconomic developments into actionable insights for investment and business decisionsIdentify key economic risks and opportunities relevant to the Group’s businessesProvide strategic economic perspectives to subsidiaries across Mandal Financial GroupQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related fieldStrong understanding of Mongolia’s monetary policy, fiscal policy, government budgeting, and macroeconomic frameworkExperience at the Bank of Mongolia, Ministry of Finance, or a similar policy or financial institution is highly preferred3+ years of relevant professional experienceStrong quantitative, analytical, research, and forecasting skillsAbility to communicate complex economic topics clearly to senior management and business teamsProfessional proficiency in EnglishApply📩 solongo@mandalasset.mnPlease send your CV and relevant supporting documents to the email above.
