Chief Electrical Engineer

We are currently partnering with a leading organization in the energy/industrial sector to recruit an experienced Chief Electrical Engineer to lead and oversee large-scale projects.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with the Principal Electrical Engineer to ensure accurate implementation of project designsLead and manage the work of Lead Engineers across multiple projectsPrepare and review electrical engineering studies, drawings, specifications, and technical documentationResolve complex engineering challenges in line with international codes and standardsDefine project scope, objectives, and prioritiesPlan, schedule, and monitor departmental workloadEstablish and maintain procedures, methods, and quality controlsEnsure compliance with quality and safety standardsLiaise with internal teams and external clients👥 Leadership Responsibilities:Manage, mentor, and develop the Electrical Engineering teamSupport recruitment, training, and performance managementContribute to departmental budgeting and resource planningReview performance and recommend salary adjustmentsApprove timesheets and oversee team productivity🎓 Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred)Registered Professional EngineerMinimum 25 years’ experience in Electrical EngineeringProven experience in oil & gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure projectsRecognized as a specialist on large to mega-scale projectsStrong expertise in:Electrical engineering design and practicesProtection systems and calculationsInternational codes, standards, and specifications
