About ChangeEngineChangeEngine is the AI-powered employee communication infrastructure that creates communications, not just sends them. One message becomes a branded email, a Slack post, a Teams message, an SMS, and a printed poster: designed, automated, measured, and triggered directly off the customer's HRIS.Here's the shift we are selling into. In the 2010s, every company wanted a centralized hub for employees to log in, build community, and recognize one another. Nowadays it is the exact opposite. Employees don't want to download another app. They have app fatigue. They aren't logging into intranets anymore, and like modern consumer marketing, they expect information to come to them exactly when they need it.So we built the layer underneath. Think of ChangeEngine as an air traffic controller and the glue between a company's comms, programs, and tools. We plug into their people data, then segment and send personalized communications to employees wherever they already are. We have 75+ HRIS and comms integrations, and we're live in 3 to 4 weeks.Another way to think about us: the Wizard of Oz. Most employees never know we exist because we brand the content for our customers and send it from their own domains.Where We Are Today150+ customers, including Constellation Brands, e.l.f. Cosmetics, EoS Fitness, World Central Kitchen, Nextdoor, and Harness. 4.9/5 stars on G2, and won Highest Performer, Best Support, Best ROI, and Momentum Leader. Great Place to Work certified. Series A, backed by Threshold Ventures, Struck Capital, and Bonfire Ventures. Our thesis on the market: HR and Internal Comms are where Marketing was 20 years ago. Back then, CMOs were doing manual mail merges, deduping lead lists, and reconciling data in spreadsheets. Then HubSpot, Eloqua, and Marketo showed up, and marketing finally got to prove its value. Internally, HR and Comms are still underserved and continue to borrow tools from Marketing. HubSpot is a customer of ours for exactly this reason: world-class at external marketing automation, but internally they were asking HR to export spreadsheets from Workday, upload them into HubSpot, and by then the data was already stale. The RoleYou are one of the most visible people at ChangeEngine, and the one nobody has to be sold by. We have built something rare: an advisory network of sitting and former CHROs, Heads of Internal Comms, and People leaders from companies our buyers already respect. Right now it is a roster. Your job is to turn it into the single most credible community in HR and Internal Comms, and then to put yourself on camera in front of it every week. Two jobs, one person, and they only work together. The first is community. You own the advisory network end to end: who we recruit, how they're oriented, what we ask of them, what they get back, and whether they stay engaged past month three. The second is evangelism. You are the face and the voice. Short-form video, LinkedIn, podcasts, webinars, conference stages, customer stories told out loud instead of buried in a PDF. Our buyers are communications professionals. We are the Wizard of Oz to 150+ customers' employees. You are the opposite: the one person in the market who is unmistakably ChangeEngine. What You'll OwnThe Advisory Network. Recruiting, onboarding, and retention of high-profile executive advisors. You source them, you close them, you run their orientation, and you keep them warm. You'll know what each advisor wants out of this (visibility, a peer group, early access, a board seat someday) and you'll actually deliver it.Orientation and rhythm. Every advisor gets a real onboarding: what ChangeEngine does, what we're asking of them, how we'll use their voice, and what they get in return. Then a cadence they can count on. Networks fail when the ask is vague, and the follow-through is worse.UGC and original content. You are consistently in front of the camera at volume. Talking-head takes, reactions to what's happening in the market, hot seat interviews with advisors, customer moments captured live at events. Not a quarterly polished brand film: a steady drumbeat that makes people feel like they know you.Digital events and webinars. Programming built around our advisors and customers, not around our product. You own the calendar, the guest list, the format, the promotion, and the follow-through. The measure is whether the right people register, attend, and come back for the next one.Community-sourced pipeline. This role has a number. Advisor introductions, community-sourced opportunities, webinar-to-demo conversion, and content-attributed pipeline. Evangelism that doesn't produce pipeline is just a personal brand on our payroll, and we'll be direct with you about that from day one.Customer voice. You will get customers to say out loud what they'll only write in a survey. Case study interviews, on-stage conversations, G2 reviews, referenceable logos. When an AE needs proof for a live deal, you're the one who already has it recorded. The market read. You will talk to more People leaders in a quarter than the rest of the company does in a year. That intel routes back into product, positioning, and the roadmap. Bring it back loudly.Who You Are5+ years across community, evangelism, brand marketing, content, or a GTM role where your personal credibility was the asset. Titles matter less than whether people in this market already take your call. You have built or run a community, advisory board, council, or executive program that outlived the launch. Tell us how it looked in month eighteen, not launch week. You are genuinely comfortable on camera, not just willing to try, and you have a solid portfolio of work. You can hold your own with a CHRO of a 10,000-person company and make them want to come back: peer, not vendor. You write like a person. Our buyers are communications professionals: they grade on this whether or not they say so. You are a closer in the quiet way. Getting a busy executive to commit their name, their time, and their face to something takes real persuasion. You are organized enough to run a standing content calendar and an event calendar at the same time without either one slipping. You want a number attached to your work. If a scoreboard makes you uncomfortable, this is the wrong seat. Travel: expect about 25 percent, for conferences, dinners, customer sites, and shoots. The AI BarWe sell an AI platform, and we run on an AI-native stack. That applies to this role, at the level we'd expect from a senior hire. You should be able to walk us through how you already use AI in your work (which tools, what you actually built, what it replaced, not just using ChatGPT to write emails), how you'd produce 20 pieces of video content a month without a production team and where you'd refuse to let AI touch it, how you'd research 100 executives, rank them for advisory fit, and write outreach that reads like you wrote it because you did, how you'd take a 60-minute webinar recording and get a month of distribution out of it by the next morning, and how you'd tell whether the community is actually healthy using behavior rather than a satisfaction survey. We believe behavioral data beats surveys, and we'd like to hear your version of that argument. You'll be given the tooling: our CRM, email, calendar, call recordings, and product data are wired into a single AI workspace, with internal agents and skills built on top of it. If you've been waiting for a company that hands you the tools instead of telling you to use them, this is the seat. What We Care About In This RoleCustomer empathy. Our buyers didn't get into HR to chase employees down or become professional logistics people. Employees need 7 to 8 repetitions before a process becomes muscle memory, and HR has nowhere near the bandwidth to provide them with that. If you understand that pain, every conversation you have runs itself.Taste. The guest list, the thumbnail, the invitation, the room. We are a brand-forward company, and anything with your face on it is the brand.Urgency on time to value. We go live in 3 to 4 weeks. Everything we do should move at that speed, including the 48 hours after a webinar ends, when most of the pipeline is won or lost.Excellent listening. The best people here are the best note-takers here. You will be in rooms nobody else at ChangeEngine gets access to.Generosity. We hire givers. Everything you learn is documented and shared so the next person can move faster. That goes double here: your relationships have to become the company's, not just yours.Compensation and Benefits: Meaningful stock options. Unlimited PTO. Remote work. Health insurance with additional perks, including Headspace Care. Global company offsites and team retreats across our US, UK, and LatAm offices. Modern tech equipment, a full AI tool stack, and a content production budget.
