Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Overview A large Gulf-based contracting group is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead, scale, and strengthen its operations in Saudi Arabia. The role requires a senior business leader with deep KSA market knowledge, strong government and corporate relationships, proven P&L ownership, and a track record of driving sustainable revenue and profitability growth. Responsibilities Lead the overall strategy, operations, and growth of the Saudi Arabian business. Own the organization's P&L, revenue growth, profitability, and financial performance. Develop and execute strategies to achieve aggressive and sustainable business growth. Strengthen and expand relationships with key Saudi stakeholders and decision-makers. Lead engagement with government ministries, giga-projects, sovereign wealth funds, major corporations, and government-related entities. Oversee large-scale projects, operational performance, and organizational execution. Lead and develop large, high-performing teams and senior leadership functions. Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the Saudi market. Ensure the business operates effectively within the Saudi regulatory and business environment. Drive operational efficiency and initiatives that improve EBITDA and profitability. Represent the organization at senior executive, government, and corporate levels. Ideal Candidate A highly established senior business leader with deep experience in Saudi Arabia who can take full ownership of the business, accelerate growth, improve profitability, lead complex organizations, and leverage an established network of senior government and corporate relationships across KSA. RequirementsExperience 20+ years of overall professional and leadership experience. Minimum 5 years in a CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, or Country Head position. Proven experience operating, leading, and scaling businesses in Saudi Arabia. Strong experience managing government contracting and large-scale projects. Demonstrated track record of achieving double-digit revenue growth. Proven experience improving EBITDA and overall profitability. Strong P&L ownership and financial management experience. Experience leading large teams and complex organizations. Experience managing senior-level relationships with government and corporate stakeholders in Saudi Arabia. Education MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field. Skills Executive Leadership: ability to lead complex organizations, make high-impact decisions, and take full ownership of business performance. P&L and Financial Management: strong experience managing revenue, costs, EBITDA, profitability, and overall financial performance. Saudi Market Leadership: deep understanding of operating, scaling, and doing business within the Saudi Arabian market. Strategic Business Growth: proven ability to develop and execute strategies that deliver significant and sustainable revenue growth. Government Contracting: strong experience managing government contracts, stakeholders, and large-scale projects. Government and Corporate Relations: established ability to build and maintain senior relationships with ministries, giga-projects, SWFs, major corporations, and government-related entities. Regulatory and Business Environment: strong understanding of Saudi regulations, business practices, and market dynamics. Organizational Leadership: experience leading large teams, senior executives, and complex organizational structures. Stakeholder Management: ability to influence and manage relationships with high-level government, corporate, and strategic stakeholders. Profitability Improvement: demonstrated ability to identify and execute initiatives that improve operational efficiency and EBITDA. Executive Communication: strong ability to communicate, negotiate, and represent the organization at senior government and corporate levels. Bilingual Communication: fluent in both Arabic and English. Preferred / Strong Advantage Experience working within a family conglomerate, multinational organization, or joint venture. Established senior-level Saudi business network. Existing Saudi residency / valid Iqama and work authorization. Experience with major Saudi giga-projects and government-related entities.
