Employment Type: Full-Time | On-SiteAbout the RoleWe are seeking an accomplished Civil Engineer with proven executive leadership experience in the Libyan construction and contracting sector to lead the strategic direction, business operations, and sustainable growth of a construction company specializing in infrastructure projects in Libya.The ideal candidate must have a strong engineering background, hands-on experience working with contracting companies in Libya, and a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects, business operations, and executive teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.Oversee all company operations, including technical, commercial, financial, and administrative functions.Lead large-scale infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.Drive business development and secure new contracts and strategic opportunities within the Libyan market.Manage financial performance, budgets, cash flow, and resource allocation.Build and maintain strong relationships with Libyan government entities, clients, consultants, and strategic partners.Lead senior management teams and optimize organizational performance.Oversee major tenders, contracts, procurement strategies, and commercial negotiations.Ensure compliance with Libyan laws, regulations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.Monitor business performance through KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.15+ years of experience in the construction and infrastructure sector.Mandatory experience working in a contracting or construction company operating in Libya.At least 5 years of experience in a CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, or equivalent executive leadership position.Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure and construction businesses.Strong technical background in infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, water and wastewater networks, or similar projects.Demonstrated expertise in business strategy, financial management, business development, and operational leadership.Proven ability to manage large teams, significant budgets, and complex construction projects.Strong leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.Willingness to relocate to and work on-site in Benghazi, Libya.
