Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO serves as the Chamber's chief executive, strategic leader, and public ambassador, advancing a thriving business environment while championing the economic vitality of Greater Idaho Falls.The ideal candidate possesses an integral understanding of the region's diverse stakeholders and recognizes the extraordinary opportunities that exist across Eastern Idaho. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both executive vision and operational execution. They understand that exceptional Chamber leadership requires visibility, accessibility, and a genuine commitment to serving the business community.Required Qualifications and ExperienceA bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required; an advanced degree in business, public administration, economic development, nonprofit management, or a related field is preferred.A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible executive or senior leadership experience in business, nonprofit management, economic development, public administration, or a comparable field.Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with a governing board, including supporting board governance, strategic planning, and organizational accountability.Strong business and financial acumen, with experience in organizational leadership, budgeting, financial oversight, fundraising, sponsorship development, and resource stewardship.Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization effectively before business leaders, elected officials, community stakeholders, the media, and the public.A reputation for integrity, sound judgment, and collaborative leadership, with the ability to build trust and inspire confidence among diverse stakeholders.Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearBenefits:Paid time offEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Management: 7 years (Preferred)Leadership: 7 years (Preferred)
