Team members join a business that is focused on sustainable growth and strong customer relationships in the coatings industry.Role Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide overall strategic leadership and direction for Nash Paints, ensuring sustainable growth and market competitiveness. This full-time, on-site role based in Zimbabwe includes setting long-term business objectives, overseeing financial performance, and guiding operational excellence across all departments. The CEO will lead business development, drive sales growth, and strengthen the company’s position in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the executive team, engaging with key customers and stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. The CEO will also foster an inclusive, high-performance culture, support talent development, and represent Nash Paints in industry and community forums.QualificationsStrong Finance and Business Planning skills to manage budgets, investments, and long-term growth initiatives.Proven capability in Operations Management to optimize processes, supply chains, and overall organizational efficiency.Demonstrated experience in Sales and market development to expand customer bases and drive revenue growth.Advanced Strategic Planning skills to set direction, prioritize initiatives, and respond effectively to market changes.Prior senior leadership experience, ideally as a CFO or executive in manufacturing, paints, or related industries.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Track record of building and leading diverse, high-performing teams.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.Strong understanding of the Southern African business environment and regulatory landscape.
