This role offers the opportunity to lead operations within a dynamic and fast-growing market, working closely with regional and global stakeholders while taking on a key leadership positionJob SummaryThe Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the highest-ranking executive responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and management of LOLC Bank Philippines Inc., in alignment with the policies, risk appetite, and governance framework approved by the Board of Directors.The CEO is ultimately accountable for ensuring that the Bank operates in a safe, sound, and sustainable manner, consistent with the requirements of the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and other Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issuances. The role is critical in embedding a risk-aware culture, strengthening corporate governance, and delivering financial and operational resilience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) shall be the overall-in-charge of the management of the business and affairs of LOLC Bank Philippines Inc., operating within the strategic direction, risk appetite, and governance framework approved by the Board of Directors.The CEO shall be primarily accountable to the Board for ensuring that the Bank is managed in a safe, sound, and prudent manner, consistent with the provisions of the BSP Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and other applicable regulatory requirements.He/She shall champion the desired corporate culture, ethical standards, and professional conduct across the organization, ensuring that these are embedded in all levels of operations and decision-making. The CEO is responsible for the effective execution of Board-approved strategies, translating these into measurable performance outcomes while maintaining strong risk discipline.Furthermore, the CEO shall promote and safeguard the long-term interests, sustainability, and financial resilience of the Bank by:· Ensuring alignment of business objectives with risk management principles· Driving sustainable growth while preserving asset quality and capital strength· Maintaining an effective system of internal controls, governance, and accountability· Strengthening stakeholder confidence, including regulators, depositors, and shareholdersThe CEO shall also ensure that all management actions, policies, and initiatives are consistent with the Bank’s strategic goals, regulatory expectations, and fiduciary responsibilities to its stakeholders.Strategic Leadership & Business Direction· Formulate and execute strategic plans aligned with the Bank’s vision, mission, and Board-approved risk appetite· Drive portfolio growth while ensuring risk-adjusted returns· Lead expansion initiatives including digital banking and financial inclusionCorporate Governance & Regulatory Compliance· Institutionalize governance practices aligned with BSP and MORB standards· Ensure full compliance with BSP, AMLA, and other regulatory requirements· Promote transparency, accountability, and ethical conductRisk Governance & Control Oversight· Ensure effectiveness of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework· Oversee credit, liquidity, market, and operational risks· Monitor asset quality, NPLs, and collection efficiencyFinancial Stewardship· Ensure capital adequacy, profitability, and liquidity management· Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and performance monitoringOperational Management· Oversee day-to-day operations and organizational efficiency· Ensure clear structure, delegation, and accountabilityOrganizational Leadership· Promote a high-performance and risk-aware culture· Lead talent development and succession planningStakeholder Management· Maintain strong relationships with BSP, Board, and stakeholders· Represent the Bank in regulatory and industry engagementsBoard Reporting· Provide timely and accurate reports on performance, risk, and compliance· Escalate material issues and support Board oversightKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)· Return on Assets (ROA) / Return on Equity (ROE)· Non-Performing Loan (NPL) Ratio· Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR)· Liquidity Position· Cost-to-Income Ratio· BSP Examination Results / Compliance RatingMinimum Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field· MBA or equivalent preferred· At least 15 years of banking experience with senior leadership exposure· Strong knowledge of BSP regulations, MORB, and governance frameworks· Must meet BSP Fit and Proper standards· No disqualifications under applicable laws· Philippines nationality holders encouraged to apply.Core Competencies· Strategic leadership· Risk management· Governance and compliance· Financial acumen· Decision-making· Stakeholder engagement· Ethical leadership
