Angel View provides residential care, adult day program services, outreach services, and thrift store operations, guided by compassion, dignity, independence, and a commitment to quality of life for the individuals and families it serves.About The RoleThe Chief Executive Officer leads Angel View, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist children and adults with developmental disabilities reach their maximum potential.This role works in close partnership with a Board of Directors and wears many hats - strategic, operational, financial, and programmatic - to advance the organization's mission, ensuring alignment between long-term vision, programmatic impact, and organizational sustainability. This leader is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and leading a dedicated staff, fostering a positive culture and reflecting the organization's values.As Angel View's primary public representative, the CEO elevates organizational visibility, engages stakeholders, and strengthens partnerships. With strong business judgment, the CEO aligns financial resources with strategic priorities, ensuring both mission impact and long-term viability. Working with the Board, staff,and key stakeholders, the CEO implements strategic priorities, evaluates outcomes, and adapts to evolving opportunities and challenges.Position Responsibilities Executive Leadership and Strategic VisionDevelop, communicate and implement a clear strategic vision that positions Angel View for long-term mission impact, financial sustainability, and continued relevance across the Coachella Valley.Program Quality,Client Care, and ComplianceEnsure that residential care, day programming, outreach services, transportation, and related operations consistently support client safety,dignity, independence, and quality of life.Financial Management and Fund DevelopmentSafeguard and strengthen Angel View’s financial position through disciplined budgeting, revenue diversification, expense management, contract negotiation and long-term planning.People, Culture, and Organizational ManagementLead, support, and develop a mission-driven workforce committed to compassion, dignity, service excellence, and client-centered care. Build trust with staff by being visible, accessible, consistent, and respectful of the demanding work performed across programs, homes, transportation, retail, and administration.Community Engagement and AdvocacyServe as the public face and primaryspokesperson for AngelView, representing the organization with credibility, compassion, and professionalism.Advocate for the needs, dignity,inclusion, and potential of children and adults with disabilities.Board RelationsCommunicate regularly and transparently with the Board of Directors, providing timely information needed for governance, fiduciary oversight, and strategic decision-making. Partner with the Board to refine strategy, monitor organizational performance, assess risk, and strengthen Angel View’s future.Ideal Candidate Profile Angel View is seekinga leader with the operational sophistication to managea complex business and the mission alignment to lead a human services organization with compassion.The most competitive candidates will have experience including:Leadership experience in nonprofit, public, or private sector organizationsDemonstrated successin strategic planning,organizational sustainability, and operational leadershipStrong financial acumen, including budgetingand resource allocation with experience at a $40 to $75 million scaleSenior leadership experience with complex, multi-site organizations with large hourly workforces, facilities, compliance demands, and service delivery requirementExperience workingwith or supporting governing boardsAbility to build partnerships across community, business, and government sectorsStrong communication and public engagement skillsUnderstanding of policy, advocacy, and civic engagementlandscapesBachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, public administration.Advanced degree preferred.
