With an attractive executive package, shareholding opportunity and significant performance-based upside, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven finance leader ready to make a meaningful impact.This is an exciting opportunity for a CA(SA) who is looking to move beyond traditional financial reporting and play a key role in shaping commercial strategy, profitability, cash generation and sustainable business growth.This is a true commercial CFO role for someone who wants to have an impact beyond the numbers.You will be expected to challenge decisions, influence strategy, protect margins, improve cash discipline and work closely with operational and commercial leaders across the organisation.The role also provides exposure to procurement, supply chain, stock, operations, commercial negotiations and strategic growth initiatives.If you are a commercially minded CA(SA) with strong executive leadership experience and the ability to translate financial insight into business performance, we would like to hear from you.Apply now with your CV.Duties:Lead the overall financial strategy and financial wellbeing of the organisation.Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario planning and financial modelling.Provide strategic insight into revenue, gross margin, profitability and cash generation.Partner with EXCO and business leaders to support commercial decision-making.Oversee working capital, cash flow, stock control and financial performance.Act as a key custodian of procurement strategy, supplier governance and commercial negotiations.Drive cost optimisation, margin protection and supplier performance.Oversee financial governance, internal controls, risk management and audit readiness.Provide decision-ready financial dashboards, reporting and performance insights.Challenge business initiatives where ROI, commercial viability or financial controls require further consideration.Lead, develop and build a high-performing finance function.Represent Finance at EXCO, Board, audit, budget and operational forums.Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:Matric (Grade 12) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting BCom Honours in Accounting / CTA CA(SA)Experience:Completed SAICA Articles Minimum 7 years' post-articles experience in a senior finance leadership environment.Strong experience across: Financial strategy, Budgeting and forecasting, Commercial finance, Working capital management, Cash and stock control, Governance and internal controls, Audit and risk and Financial modellingStrong knowledge of IFRS and South African statutory requirements.Advanced Excel, ERP, reporting, dashboarding and financial modelling capability.Proven commercial and strategic leadership ability.Strong stakeholder management and executive presence.
