Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage the financial operations of our exhibitions and events business. The CFO will be responsible for financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting senior management in making strategic business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the company’s financial strategy and long-term financial plans.Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and cash flow.Prepare and monitor event-wise budgets, revenue forecasts, and profitability reports.Analyze the financial performance of exhibitions, conferences, and other events.Monitor event expenses, vendor payments, sponsorship revenue, exhibitor payments, and outstanding receivables.Ensure effective cost control and identify opportunities to improve profitability.Manage cash flow and ensure the availability of funds for ongoing and upcoming events.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax requirements, VAT, and audit requirements.Oversee relationships with banks, auditors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.Identify financial risks and implement appropriate risk-management strategies.Lead and manage the finance and accounting team.Support management with financial insights for business expansion, new exhibitions, and investment opportunities.Improve financial systems, processes, controls, and reporting procedures.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is preferred.Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably as a CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance.Experience in the exhibitions, events, hospitality, or project-based industry is an advantage.Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.Knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and financial compliance requirements.Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
