Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a commercially driven, operational Chief Financial Officer to lead the full finance agenda for a large-scale food manufacturing and distribution business in Saudi Arabia.This is not a traditional reporting-led CFO role. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, bringing the commercial judgement and operational depth required to improve profitable growth, manufacturing performance, working capital and cash generation.The RoleThe CFO will lead a finance organisation of 100+ people and partner closely with Commercial, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain and Distribution leadership.The successful candidate will understand how a high-volume food manufacturing and distribution business makes and loses money: from ingredient and packaging procurement, through manufacturing, warehousing and route-to-market, to final customer sale.Key responsibilities include:Drive profitable growth through rigorous pricing, trade-spend, promotion, customer, channel and product-profitability management.Strengthen manufacturing economics, including raw-material costs, conversion costs, yield, waste, productivity and capacity utilisation.Improve working capital and cash conversion through tighter control of receivables, credit, collections, inventory, expiry risk, supplier payments and cash forecasting.Translate complex financial and operating data into clear, timely management decisions.Challenge unsupported sales forecasts, revenue assumptions, promotional plans and route-to-market investments.Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain leaders to improve productivity, cost control, yield, planning and inventory discipline.Evaluate CAPEX and expansion proposals across capacity, automation, warehousing, fleet, equipment and distribution infrastructure.Identify and address underperforming customers, channels, territories, products, SKUs and commercial agreements.Lead fact-based performance reviews that result in decisions and accountability—not retrospective reporting.Develop a high-performing finance organisation with strong capability, controls, reporting discipline and leadership depth.Candidate ProfileWe are seeking a senior CFO, Finance Director or operating-finance leader with substantial experience in food manufacturing, FMCG manufacturing and distribution, or a comparably complex high-volume consumer-products environment.The ideal candidate will bring:18+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including significant operating-P&L responsibility.Strong commercial-finance expertise across pricing, gross-to-net, trade spend, promotions and customer/channel profitability.Deep manufacturing-finance experience, including costing, raw materials, conversion costs, yield, waste, inventory and supply-chain economics.A track record of leading sizeable, multi-layered finance teams and strengthening finance operating models.The confidence and credibility to challenge senior Commercial, Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain leaders.Fluency in English and Arabic.This is an opportunity for a commercially astute CFO who combines financial rigour with the ability to influence critical operational and commercial decisions at pace.
