Chief Financial Officer

We are recruiting!Our client in Harare is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team for a job vacancy within the Hardware/Retail industry.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Partner with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and board members to build long-term business goals and financial plans.Financial Operations: Oversee the accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking departments.Risk and Compliance: Manage financial risks and ensure reporting adheres to regulatory and accounting standards.Growth and Investment: Identify new investment opportunities, funding sources, and lead merger and acquisition activities.Team Leadership: Build, guide, and mentor top-performing finance and accounting teams.Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial issues and build business relationships.Qualifications:A degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant qualification.At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.Professional certification is required.Skills:Hard Skills: Advanced data analysis, financial modelling, and proficiency in financial software.Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication abilities.If you qualify, please email your cv in plain MS Word format to: pchinenere@priconsultants.com
