Chief Financial Officer

OverviewThe Finance & Accounting organization oversees finance, tax, controllership, group accounting, investor relations, and finance strategy. Its mission is to manage finance and accounting functions across the group while establishing and maintaining robust global finance and accounting governance across regional headquarters and key subsidiaries.Key ResponsibilitiesAs CFO or Head of Finance / AccountingDevelopment of governance frameworks for financial and accounting operations.Comprehensive management accounting, including budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis (FP&A).Strategic financial support for the expansion of the e-commerce business in the overseas market.Work EnvironmentExperience in finance and accounting at listed or multinational companies.Subject matter expertise in tax and accounting.Professionals with a background in consulting or other relevant advisory environments.Mandatory QualificationsExperience managing financial accounting, including monthly and quarterly financial reporting.Ability to negotiate and collaborate with business leaders, legal teams, and other specialized functions on behalf of finance/accounting.Strong IFRS and tax knowledge.Digital transformation (DX) experience, or demonstrated willingness to adopt and lead new ways of working.Proven experience managing a team of 10+ employees.Additional Information — LocationThe role is based in Tokyo and is expected to involve regular business travel in AsiaAdditional Information — English QualificationBusiness-level English proficiency, demonstrated through relevant professional experience, education, or an equivalent standardized qualification.
