Chief Financial Officer | Private Equity Backed BusinessSouthern England/South Coast/Open | HybridTalent Finance are partnering with a successful private equity backed business to appoint a Chief Financial Officer as part of the continued development of its senior leadership team.This is a significant Board level appointment for an experienced CFO who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment and can combine strategic leadership with a genuinely commercial and hands on approach.Working closely with the CEO, Board and investors, you will play an important role in shaping the next stage of the business, improving financial and operational performance and ensuring the organisation is well positioned to deliver its longer term objectives.The RoleThe CFO will have broad responsibility across finance and commercial performance, including:

• Working closely with the CEO and Board on strategy, performance and key business decisions
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial planning
• Developing meaningful commercial and operational reporting across the business
• Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, cash generation and overall business performance
• Ensuring the finance function, controls and processes remain appropriate as the organisation develops
• Supporting strategic projects and potential transaction activity
• Leading and developing the finance team
• Managing relationships with investors, lenders and other external stakeholders
• Playing an active role as part of the wider senior leadership teamAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced CFO or senior Finance Director who has operated within a private equity or similarly investor backed environment.You will be a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with strong Board level experience and a track record of working with ambitious businesses through periods of growth, development or change.Previous experience of value creation, M&A, refinancing, transformation or preparing a business for a future transaction would be particularly relevant.Just as importantly, this needs to be someone who enjoys being close to the business.
