Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed SaaS technology company headquartered in Dubai. With a team of 200+ across more than 20 nationalities and 10+ countries, they are a genuinely global, multicultural business at an exciting stage of growth. They are now looking for a dynamic, hands-on CFO to lead their financial operations and help shape the next phase of the company's journey.This business has been growing 20-25% year on year for the past 3 years.The RoleAs CFO, you will be the right-hand person to the CEO, providing strategic financial direction while remaining close to the detail. You will partner with sales, marketing and product to shape pricing, margin and growth decisions, not just report on them after the fact, and you will be the company's primary point of contact for its investor community.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute financial strategy aligned with the company's growth goals, managing cash flow and long-term financial planningLead FP&A, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis, with ownership of board reporting and presentationsBuild and maintain relationships with venture capital, private equity and other investment partnersLead M&A activity end to end, including due diligence and management of advisers, counsel and counterpartiesPrepare the business for investor scrutiny, including data room readiness and financial diligenceCollaborate with commercial teams to optimise pricing, margin and ARR growthImplement robust financial controls and drive profitability through operational efficiencyRequirementsProven track record of personally leading international M&A transactions across multiple jurisdictionsSME / start-up tech experience highly preferred. Someone from a large tech business may not fit into this entrepreneurial environmentStrong preference for someone with established relationships within the VC and private equity investor community, ideally in technology15-20 years of progressive senior financial leadership, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or technology businessStrong experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, P&L management and commercial financeA recognised accounting/finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with IFRS experienceExcellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to boards and senior stakeholdersHigh degree of integrity, professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
