You will partner closely with ownership and the leadership team, take the lead on banking and treasury strategy, and bring the commercial and strategic input that a fast growing, still lean finance function needs.What you will be doingActing as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, not simply reporting the numbers after the factProducing high level forecasting and scenario planning that gives the leadership team, and external stakeholders, real confidence in the numbersOverseeing import finance, foreign currency exposure and trade finance transactionsLeading and developing a growing finance function as the business continues to scaleOwning the relationship with the Group's principal lending bankWhat we are looking forA qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant experience at CFO, FD or equivalent level in a business of comparable scale (ideally a £200m+ turnover business)Comfortable operating hands on in a lean team, while equally credible in front of the Board and external stakeholdersThe judgement and resilience to build credibility quickly in a high growth environmentDirect experience negotiating and managing revolving credit or trade finance facilitiesThis is a confidential search.
