About the RoleAs our Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering directly with the President/CEO and Boards of affiliated entities to guide financial strategy, ensure organizational sustainability, and drive long-term growth.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CFO to oversee financial operations across multiple entities, influence enterprise-wide decision-making, and lead a talented finance and accounting team.What You'll DoStrategic Financial LeadershipDevelop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.Oversee cash flow, investments, reserves, and liquidity management.Assess and manage enterprise risk across multiple business entities.Partner with executive leadership on compensation, benefits, and business growth initiatives.Financial Reporting & AnalysisEnsure timely, accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.Oversee accounting operations, financial controls, and reporting systems.Analyze financial performance and provide insights that support executive decision-making.Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.Regulatory Compliance & GovernanceOversee reporting and filings with FINRA, IRS, Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions, OCI, and other regulatory agencies.Lead annual tax reporting, including Form 990 preparation for affiliated nonprofit entities.Serve as a fiduciary member of retirement and investment committees.External PartnershipsManage relationships with auditors, actuaries, investment managers, reinsurers, payroll providers, and retirement plan recordkeepers.Ensure successful completion of audits and regulatory examinations.Team LeadershipLead and develop a high-performing finance team.Foster employee growth through coaching, mentorship, and performance development.Establish accountability, clear goals, and a culture of continuous improvement.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.Active CPA designation.Significant experience in accounting, financial management, and executive leadership.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.Demonstrated success leading teams and developing talent.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.Preferred QualificationsFINRA Series 7, 24, 27, and 63 licenses.Experience in financial services, insurance, investment management, nonprofit organizations, or multi-entity structures.Generous Benefits Package· Award-winning workplace culture· Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage· Generous paid time off· Industry-leading 401(k) retirement plan· Opportunity to influence strategy and organizational growthWEA Member Benefits is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a workplace where all individuals are valued, respected, and provided equal access to employment opportunities.
